Most modifications to the Kodak DC280 are performed on the circuit board immediately exposed after removing the back cover plate. A combination of techniques are employed: touching the electronics to distort CCD information, short circuiting the CCD and Analog to Digital ICs using multimeter probes attached at the ends by an alligator clip, using potentiometers to vary the resistance between points on the board.
